Plumber Wet Fitter

Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Plumber Wet Fitter to join our team, based in Portsmouth.  Providing a comprehensive heating system maintenance and repair service to a range of different domestic social housing properties.

You will be working on a full-time permanent basis, working 42.5 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £32.000 (£14.50 per hour) Basic plus the opportunity to earn on target earnings.  Plus, Company Van, Fuel Card & Excellent Benefits!

Responsibilities of the Plumber Wet Fitter will include: 

Undertake the servicing, repairing and maintenance of Domestic heating systems
Complete works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations
Some Wet Fitting Responsibilities which may include installations and repairs of domestic heating systems including replacements of radiators and valves
Completion of all relevant paperwork                 
Ensure customer satisfaction and safety 
Participate in out of hour's works, including overtime and call out
Work to operational procedures, safe working practices and H&S procedures
Reporting of all accidents, near miss events or potential hazards
Undertake all other maintenance works within remit
Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers       

What we are looking for in our ideal Plumber Wet Fitter:

Recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification, NVQ Level 2/3
or equivalent/ City and Guilds
ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT

LPG unvented oil desirable but not essential
UNVENTED qualifications are desirable but not essential
Understanding of gas legislation
Full driving license
Understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice
Ability to manage own time and workload
Experience of working with the public, demonstrating excellent customer service
