Plumbing and heating engineer

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Plumbing and heating engineer based within Irvine, KA12

Available shifts / Locations below:

• Monday until Friday (5 days a week)- This is a full time Position
• Postcode:KA12 8SS
• 08:00-16:00PM
• £17.93 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue.
• Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.
• This position is PAYE.

Skills and experience required:

• Must have at least 2 years previous experience
• DBS Required
• NVQ Level 3 in plumbing Desirable
• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
• Able to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work both alone and in a team.
• Awareness of health and safety procedures

Must have experience in the following:

• Must have a background in Domestic & Commercial Plumbing and Drainage, preferably with a recognized apprenticeship.
• To liaise with Facilities Team Leaders regarding plant or equipment failures and to arrange for the supply of goods and/or services as necessary.
• Extensive and varied post apprenticeship experience in installation, service and maintenance is desirable for this role.
• City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent qualification
• Have experience in completing planned and reactive maintenance to the water and heating systems at the hospital including TMV checks, shower head chlorination's and water temperature monitoring.
• Undertake planned and reactive mechanical maintenance tasks, carryout small work and variation requests, and any other tasks deemed reasonable and within the capabilities of the individual at the request of the Facilities Team Leaders or senior management team. This will include but is not limited to; ahu maintenance, water systems maintenance, medical gas maintenance, pressure systems maintenance, legionella control measures and some minor electrical works as may be required.
