Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from conception to completion
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, suppilers, and internal teams
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities and address any issues or concerns
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members
Must be able to commute to Kent area once a week from our office in Leighton Buzzard/or based or kent with travel to office occasionally
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction/plumbing processes and techniques
- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during construction projects
- Large house builders or in mechanical into new build homes managing these projects would be a distinct advantage.
Requirements
The candidate must have gold, white or black cscs card and at least 5 years project management experience
