An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Strategic Projects Team and help drive forward the strategic agenda of one of the UK's largest and most ambitious universities.

These projects represent major investments by the University and are typically large scale and highly complex, involving multiple stakeholders and interdependencies across the institution. 

 

About the role: 

The postholder will provide high-quality administrative support to the Strategic Projects Team alongside efficient and effective PA support to the Director of Strategic Projects. Key responsibilities include:  

  • Regularly servicing boards and meetings  
  • Complex diary management 
  • Organising staff recruitment, induction and CPD activity 

 

This post is a permanent full-time (35 hours per week) position, offering flexible, hybrid working options. 

 

As the successful candidate, you should: 

  • Be visible and proactive in providing daily support to a variety of stakeholders. 
  • Be able to work flexibly at pace in a complex environment whilst balancing competing priorities. 
  • Be highly organised with effective communication skills, adapting to suit different working styles. 
  • Feel comfortable taking ownership of and resolving complex queries.
