Job Title: PMO Analyst
Department: Engineering
Location: RLE UK, The Barns, Lighthorne, Warwickshire / Customer Site, Warwickshire

Job Summary:
As a PMO Analyst, you will be an integral part of our Program Management Office, responsible for supporting and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our automotive projects and programs. Your role will encompass various aspects of program management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the successful execution of automotive projects, adherence to industry standards, and the achievement of program objectives. The PMO Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, program managers, and executives to drive project success and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Documentation: Maintain and update program documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports on program status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and milestones.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between program managers, project teams, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and alignment.
  • Risk and Issue Tracking: Track and manage program risks and issues, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Financial Tracking:- Assist in tracking program budgets, expenses, and financial performance against established targets.
  • Resource Management: Assist in resource allocation and capacity planning to ensure project teams have the necessary resources to meet program objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the program management office and contribute to the implementation of best practices.
  • Program Governance: Ensure adherence to program governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

A typical day in this role:

Daily oversight and communication with engineers regarding concerns, containment plans, and engineering releases associated with the build program.
Leading daily meetings to proactively manage workload and address questions.
Coordinating and creating the Bill of Materials (BOM).
Collaborating with engineers to ensure necessary workload is completed before Program Steering Team (PST) presentations.
Collaborating with line managers to develop PST monthly reporting presentation slides.
Conducting a gap analysis between CMF (Colours, Materials, Finishes) brochure and the Product Development System (PDS) provided to suppliers.
Organizing and overseeing escalations with stakeholders in the event of roadblocks or identified risks.
Assisting management with Excel/Smartsheet reports and general problem-solving tasks.

Essential Skills and Experience:

3 years of experience in program management, PMO, or related roles in the Automotive industry ideally with a Tier 1 Supplier or Automotive OEM.
Experience within Exteriors Engineering ideal.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
Risk Management Experience
Experience participating in a vehicle program, including the launch phase.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations is a plus.
