The Role: PMO Analyst/ Lead
The PMO Analyst/Lead provides governance, assurance and operational support which ensures the successful delivery of Change initiatives across M&G Wealth. Working with key stakeholders across M&G and performing a specialist and proactive role in embedding the M&G change methodologies, ensuring portfolio, programmes, projects and interdependencies are managed strategically, reporting anomalies and/or areas of concern to senior management.
As a PMO Analyst/ Lead you will:
•Contribute to the success of projects/value stream and support Wealth in achieving its strategic objectives
•Have effective stakeholder communication and relationships with collaboration, cross-project teamwork and cross-functional relationships
•Co-ordinate and produce reports and information, delivering it to the right stakeholders at the right time to enable informed and timely decisions
•Support adherence to the Change Lifecycle and Standards, promoting the project governance framework through quality assurance of governance activities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for supporting, monitoring and reporting on Portfolio delivery and performance eg. assisting Change Leads and Project Managers with status reporting, milestone reporting, RAID (Risk, Assumption Issue and Dependency) management
  • Supporting central M&G Wealth Change activities such as, reporting, governance and oversight
  • Ensuring adherence to M&G Change Standards and provide quality assurance of governance activities
  • Provision of commercial support for programmes/projects, such as: supporting contractual agreements through M&G systems, gaining approvals and initiating requisitions and payment of invoices
  • Support with financial reporting for the function, which includes cost forecasts, resource plans, accrual management etc.

Key knowledge, skills & experience:
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft tools eg. Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Working knowledge of JIRA / Confluence and/or PPM tools
  • Working knowledge of project methodologies, planning processes and techniques
  • Working knowledge of project commercial and financial processes eg. Procurement, monitoring cost
  • Understanding of risk management principles and their impact on projects
