Join Lancashire Constabulary as a Police Officer and you'll receive a starting salary of £28,551 and benefit from an annual incremental salary increase up to £46,044 within seven years along with a number of other fantastic benefits.
Expect high calibre training with operational duties on the frontline. It’s intense and challenging (in a good way!), both physically and mentally, but you will finish every day knowing you’ve helped keep the people of Lancashire safe.
To join, you will need to meet these eligibility criteria:
- be over 18 (you can apply at 17 and start work when you turn 18) – there is no upper age limit.
- be a British citizen, an EC/EEA national or a Commonwealth citizen or foreign national with no restrictions on your stay in the United Kingdom.
- be in good health, including fitness and eyesight.
- have no criminal record, although some offences may be considered by individual forces when you apply.
- achieved a level 2 qualification in English Language at a GCSE grade C or above or Grades 4 to 9 and hold a Level 3 qualification (e.g. NVQ or 2 A levels etc)
