Job description

The Joint International Crime Centre (JICC) is the focal point for all International enquiries both into and out of the UK supporting national and international policing partners via the channels of INTERPOL and Europol. 

As an officer in the JICC, you will be responsible for facilitating and developing intelligence in relation to a variety of criminal activity linking to National Crime Agency (NCA) priorities and threat areas, by using international law enforcement tools.

You will be working in a dynamic environment, prioritising and managing expectations of both UK and international partners, whilst delivering a quality service to meet customer needs.

You will be required to maintain a flexible and innovative approach, adapting to fluctuating demands and priorities, which could range from simple intelligence checks to complex crimes in action.

Eligibility:

This role is a closed competition and to apply you need to be:

  • A police officer at the rank of Sergeant on a lateral basis.

or

  • A police officer at the rank of Constable, currently on a select list for promotion to Sergeant, on Temporary Promotion, and with relevant experience to the role.

Salary

Successful candidates will remain on their current salary and terms and conditions for the duration of the Secondment.
