An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Professional to join the Strategic Policy and People Relations Team You will support the review and creation of new and revised HR policies, toolkits and guidance material in line with legal, national and Force requirements. You will keep GMP up to date with HR best practice, changes to employment law and national terms and conditions and be able to provide advice across GMP.
You will support consultation and negotiation with Trade Unions and Staff Associations and ensure matters are progressed to maintain effective working relationships and employee relations.
As an Associate CIPD member or equivalent you will possess an excellent knowledge of employment law, have experience of developing strong and effective customer relationships including providing advice to customers.
It is essential to the role that you have experience in writing clear and concise HR guidance documents and the ability to research and present your findings.
As an agile worker you are able to work at home on a regular basis and flexibly, within our Agile Working Principles, to meet both the needs of the organisation and your own personal circumstances.
