The Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF) is currently seeking a Support Officer for Northern Ireland. Reporting to the Development Manager (Wales) and to the Development Manager (Northern Ireland),you will be responsible for managing a caseload of projects in Northern Ireland, advising and guiding projects with special focus on the earliest stages of a project’s lifecycle, ensuring grants where offered are allocated in accordance with the programme’s criteria and priorities, and liaising with external partners to achieve common objectives as appropriate.
We are looking for a candidate able to demonstrate a breadth and depth of experience across the principal duties of this post. A working knowledge of the heritage, social enterprise and social investment sectors and clear relevant work experience in heritage development, project management, grants management, community development, regeneration, or a similar area. The candidate must be a team player, with excellent interpersonal, influencing, negotiating and communication skills. They should have experience of analysing and evaluating information from a wide variety of sources and presenting it in an appropriate format to a variety of audiences. Candidates must have strong numeric and financial skills, excellent attention to detail and be a confident user of common IT system Office packages.
