SalaryOur client is looking for a Policy Operations Manager to deliver excellent and efficient customer service and acquisition. The objective is to minimise expense and operational risk by planning to insource all customer contacts having optimised the digital journey. The successful applicant will report to the Claims Director and manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

- Salary is dependent on experience
- Hybrid option available after probation

- 22 days holiday increasing a day a year for each two-year service up to a maximum of 25.

Job specification:
- Optimise the capability for customers to fully transact online
- Challenge ways of working to ensure policies and procedures add value and where required are undertaken in the most effective way
- Secure and analyse data in order to identify opportunities to enhance customer service at minimum operational expense
- Manage the Policy Operations area to deliver a best in class quality service in an efficient and cost-effective manner
- Support delivery of new direct products
- Ensure that at all times Consumer Duty is fully adhered to
- Be familiar with and adhere to all regulatory obligations, ensuring that the department remains compliant at all times
- Identify risk and build effective controls to mitigate those risks
- Be a technical point of referral
Person specification:
- Proven digital servicing experience
- Excellent awareness of data sources and be data capable
- Possesses excellent customer skills to adapt to the different needs and manage expectations
- Knowledge of FCA principles of CD
- Project delivery experience
- Experience of risk management and control setting
- Strong leadership and people management skills
