The Role:
Roles and responsibilities:
- To contribute to the development of new products and provide technical support to customers.
- Evolution of existing products and processes
- Provide technical support and assistance for:
- Internal customers,
- Inter-company personnel,
- External customers and suppliers
- Management of product evaluation and testing as agreed with departmental manager.
- Manage and control formulation changes in response to product and process requirements.
- Ensure products comply with current regulations and quality requirements, through establishing control specifications and testing procedures.
- Effectively manage all projects including improvement activities and technical trials.
- Manage and control resource as appropriate within role
- Support the continuous improvement culture by participating, motivating and managing teams to achieve process and product improvements.
- Report all work effectively to ensure that knowledge is transferred to appropriate personnel and objectives and timing plans are achieved.
- Provide technical support and expertise for our customers.
- Understand their manufacturing processes as well and legislative requirements.
Qualifications and skills required
- A minimum of a degree in Chemistry/Polymers/Materials
- Professional knowledge in In polymers & surface coatings
- Self-motivated, inquisitive, and pro-active
