Thames Water, the UK's largest water supplier, is looking for a Portfolio Finance Manager to drive strategic business programmes for regulatory cycles and align them with the company's long-term vision. What you will be doing as a Portfolio Finance Manager
  • Control and manage an optimised investment delivery plan, influencing key business stakeholders and taking account of current and future performance.  
  • Ensure the delivery of the five-year regulatory investment plan is meeting required business plan outcomes by providing governance and MI support to exec level. 
  • Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of robust and effective financial processes through reporting cycles.
  • Scrutiny of delivery budgets to demonstrate value for money.
  • Overview and advice regarding portfolio resource allocation.
  • Managing Portfolio opportunities, threats, risks, and issues.
What you should bring to the role 
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent appropriate professional body qualification, e.g. Accountancy, MBA, or chartership status.
  • Effective communication, relationship management and presentation skills and building effective working relationships.
  • A sound comprehension of business delivery models and their application in meeting business requirements.
