As a future Portfolio Manager – Technology Equity, you will report to Head of Global Thematic Equities, and you will be part of AXA IM Core. 

DISCOVER your opportunity  

The AXA IM Equity Technology Investment team has a long history of running a range of Investment Funds in the UK and Overseas.  These include a Global Technology fund in the UK and several Technology related Thematic funds.  Dependent on expertise and focus, you will be involved in managing a fund or multiple funds.  You will take a leading role in building assets under management with responsibility of increasing the fund profile internally and externally.

You will work as part of a truly collaborative team where your dedicated Technology knowledge will be valued by both the Technology investment team and across the wider investment team.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

• Successfully manage one or more of the Technology strategies.
• Take a leading role in building AUM and the profile of the fund/funds.
• Work collaboratively with others in the business.
• Be a proactive and willing contributor to supporting the wider investment team with Technology expertise with the potential for broadening the range of Technology related investment funds in due course.
• Understand and conform to the relevant regulatory and compliance requirements

Your qualifications and experience:

• Must have dedicated Technology equity market experience in Developed Markets.
• Ideally with experience across the Technology subsectors (Software, Internet, Semiconductors, Hardware etc)
• Ideally has portfolio management experience including a track record and evidence of building AUM.  
• Experience with incorporating ESG within an investment view also valued

Your knowledge and skills:

• General knowledge of world markets, economics and politics.  Financial modelling skills.
• Portfolio management and risk management experience.
• Must have a collaborative mindset.
• Comfort in a client facing role required.
• Fluent English, written and oral.
