An established insurance client has engaged us to seek a seasoned PortfolioManager to join their expanding project delivery function based out of their Leeds office. The succesful Portfolio Manager will be joining a team placed across Leeds and London and working on a number of organisation wide transformation projects. Inclduing a re-platform of their claims portal, migration to a modern Microsoft tech stack and to a more Cloud first approach to data migrating to Azure. You will be managing 5 Project Managers and matrix manager a number of other people engaged on the projects. People management experience is essential for this role.

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the Leeds office and 2-3 days from home.
To succeed in this role the Portfolio Manager should have worked across a range technology projects with a focus on business change and the concpet of winning hearts and minds with excellent stakeholder management skills. Managed multiple large projects concurrently whilst keeping staff engaged and motivated.
Skills:
- 5-10 years experience as a Portfolio or Programme Manager and responsbility for running muiltple large business critical projects concurrently.
- Prince2 preferred
- Agile experience ideally Scrums preferred
- Business Change experience
- Technology project experience
- Microsoft Tech Stack including Azure
- Excellent stakeholder management
- People management Essential
