Portfolio Project SpecialistOutside IR35 Hybrid
Our client urgently requires an experienced Portfolio Project Specialist to join their team on a contract basis, initially for 3 months with a view to extend.
Please note, the role is OUTSIDE of IR35. This is a hybrid role, with presence required at sites across the South-West of England.
Portfolio Project Specialist Key Skills:
- Working with IT Management to ensure the compliance & consistency of project progress management and reporting, process, procedures and artefacts
- Responsible for cross functional IT projects, undertaking project management & coordination tasks throughout the complete Project Management Lifecycle, including but not limited to:
- Project planning, setting goals, project milestones and completion plans
- Maintaining and monitoring schedules and budgets for each project
- Leasing with team leads to track progress, issue and risk and to distribute tasks accordingly
- Tracking the progress and performance of projects
- Presenting & preparing project plans & reports
- Assessing and taking proper action to resolve project dependencies, risk & issue
- Leading project specific meetings between teams and other key business stakeholders
- Providing lessons learned & business benefit/outcomes analysis
- Providing and maintaining all project artefacts, as appropriate, to ensure information is made visible to all key project stakeholders to aid effective decision making and prioritisation
- Responsible for maintaining project documentation in-line with project risk, issue & progress along with PMO standard processes and artefacts
- Coordinating & managing projects to ensure that they are delivered smoothly on-time and on-budget with minimal interruptions in work
