We are now inviting applications for the position of Post Office Assistant. This is a JobStart opportunity to help gain and learn valuable experience in the workplace. This position will be 25 hours per week in which you will be receiving training to be competent in all areas of the store to become an effect member of the team. Although this is a temporary 6-month or 9-month opportunity it could lead to a permanent role within the business. This type of role will have an agreed shift pattern set within the store opening hours. Shortlisted candidates will have the opportunity to discuss working hours and shift patterns in further detail at the interview. Candidates must be able to travel to the Store via car, public transport or other to fulfil shift requirements. .

GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above (or equivalent) and/or 6 months previous experience gained in a Post Office role/ similar role/ customer service role. Previous experience of working in a team.Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.The successful candidate must past vetting by NI direct and Post Office.
