Post Press Operator No3

We are looking for a Post Press Operator to work on our printing site in Glasgow. A fantastic opportunity to work for Scotland's leading newspapers on a large web offset press.

Providing support for pallatisers
Responsible for operating pallet trucks, general housekeeping duties,
Hopper feeding of inserts working within Despatch area.

No 3 Operative staff will support in the following areas

• Hopper feeding
• Stocklin buggy operation and Pallet Truck
• Leaflet preparation
• Housekeeping and Environment general duties
• Operating and monitoring stackers and strappers
• Completing daily sheets within Despatch area
• Provide support to polybagging lines
• Provide support to Fold and stitch lines
• Provide support to Pallatisers
• Provide support to Presshall

• Good work ethic
• Shift flexibility
• Work on own or part of a team
• Flexibility to work shifts per production requirements within RPS Saltire areas
• Ability to operate various trucks
