Job description
Contract Duration: 12 months The Role The Postdoctoral Research Associate will undertake the characterisation of new high energy efficiencies tandem OLED devices, working with Prof Andrew Monkman in the Department of Physics at Durham University, Excyton Ltd and Fluxim AG. The project involves the study of a new OLED concept from Excyton. Initial OLEDs have been made in Durham and demonstrated at Display Week in LA last year, winning a coveted Innovation prize. Device fabrication will continue in Durham using our Lesker superspectros OLED tool. Detailed characterisation of the devices will be made and working closely with Fluxim, and the whole team will work together to optimise the new device architecture. The project requires a person with a full skills set in OLED device fabrication and testing using a complex OLED fabrication tool.
