Serving diverse industries including Rail, Military of Defence, Retail, and more, the company is expanding and is currently seeking a skilled Powder Coater for a full-time permanent position.

Please note that this is a Night Shift Role so would only be suitable for those willing to work unsociable hours.

Role Outlined:
The company are looking to hire a Powder Coater to join a busy Night Shift team. This role involves the application of powder coatings to metal components, ensuring exceptional finishes that meet stringent quality standards.

Daily Duties:

• Apply powder coatings to metal components using specialized equipment, ensuring uniform coverage and high-quality finishes.
• Prepare metal surfaces for coating through cleaning, sanding, and applying pre-treatment processes to achieve optimal adhesion.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain the quality of powder-coated products, promptly addressing imperfections.
• Safely handle and store powder coating materials, following proper procedures for storage, mixing, and disposal.
• Perform basic routine maintenance on powder coating equipment to ensure optimal functionality, addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols related to powder coating processes, prioritizing a safe working environment.

Person Specification:

• Previous experience in powder coating within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of various coating types and their applications.
• Ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced night shift environment.
