Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our fast-paced paint shop as a Powder Coater / Paint Sprayer. The successful candidate will be responsible for prepping/etching and top coating various products, including aluminium, steel, and acrylic.
Key Responsibilities:
Accept and inspect products for quality, reporting defects to the Team Leader
Degrease, clean, abrade, and appropriately hang products, transferring to the spray room when necessary
Ensure protection of studs and taped holes
Etch primer products and topcoat with either powder or wet paint
Clean all equipment following the 'Housekeeping Schedule'
Assist with lifting, hanging, unhanging, and unmasking operations as required
Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines, wearing correct PPE and replacing when necessary
Perform general labouring as directed by the Team Leader or Production Manager
Follow company policies and procedures, reporting non-conformance to management
Candidate Requirements:
Predominantly powder coating (80%) with some wet spray (20%), including etch primer (wet spray)
Paint spraying qualification advantageous
Willingness to work overtime as required
