Powder Coating Afternoons

Pertemps Dudley are recruiting for Powder Coaters on behalf of a reputable steel manufacturer in Dudley. Due to growth, we are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Powder Coating equipment, including spray guns and booths, to apply coatings evenly and efficiently.
• Ensure proper curing of Powder Coatings by following prescribed time and temperature parameters.
• Perform quality inspections to identify defects, imperfections, or irregularities in coated surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Powder Coating area and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Powder Coater or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating Powder Coating equipment and applying coatings to steel or metal surfaces.
• Understanding of surface preparation techniques and coating application processes.

Hours of work:
Monday-Thursday 2pm-10.30pm
Friday 2pm-7.30pm
Rate of pay:
12.37 per hour
