Hartley Botanic - Greenfield - Must live within a commutable distance to Oldham OL3

£11 per hour basic salary + £2.20 night shift premium per hour and £1.10 Powder Coating premium per hour.

38 hours per week- 21:45pm - 6:00am Monday - Thursday with a 30 minute unpaid break and Friday 19:15pm - 02:15am with a 30 minute paid break.

Role Brief

Due to an exciting period of growth we are looking for an additional dynamic, experienced Powder Coating Operative, reporting directly to the Powder Coating Supervisor you must have experience within a fast-paced industry and ability to be flexible to meet the needs a shift working environment and ability to meet deadlines. Must be willing to work a late shift pattern with possible overtime to meet the needs of the department.

Main duties and responsibilities

• You will prepare parts using our chemical tanks prior to them being hung for Powder Coating
• You will also be responsible for hanging and unhanging of parts ready be powder coated.
• You will be responsible for the Powder Coating of parts and for ensuring our high quality standards are met at all times
• You will be required to spray powder to the correct thickness, working as part of an experienced Powder Coating team.
• You will have the versatility to spray to a high standard, a range of products from extrusions to large flat surfaces and be able to work in a fast paced environment

Competencies and role requirements

• Experience of using a manual spraying system
• The ability to prepare parts for Powder Coating
• Ability to hang and unhang parts and have a keen eye for quality
• The ability to work as part of a team
• The ability to work to targets
• Must be able punctual and able to commit to working the shift pattern.

Hours

The hours for this are 38 per week, your normal working pattern will be 21:45pm - 6:00am Monday - Thursday with a 30 minute unpaid break and Friday 19:15pm - 02:15am with a 30 minute paid break.
