Description
We are looking for an experienced Power Generation Commissioning Engineer to join our team specializing in manufacturing for Distribution Business Segment in Wellingborough, Leeds, Peterborough, Daventry or Kent – Central South London.
This is a permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday, adaptable to the business needs.
Salary is £33,360- £50,040.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Elaborate and check commissioning scripts.
Test and report equipment at customer or supplier facilities
Support/perform quality inspections
Attend and support site management
Maintain compliance of testing equipment
Performs other duties as required to meet business goals
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Apprenticeship in manufacturing/engineering/electrical (desirable)
Knowledge of medium voltage/ mechanical installations/ cable installations (essential)
Owns van and tools (essential)
Electrical experience – generation, automation, programmers
Adaptable
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple projects.
