The Application Development team are responsible for delivering and maintaining high quality bespoke applications and data integrations that support the business needs of the company. These requirements are highly diverse and require innovative solutions to be delivered through up-to-date technologies - primarily leveraged through Azure Cloud. Successful candidates would be joining a small but highly dedicated team.

We are currently seeking an experienced Power Platform developer, responsible for the development and maintenance of our portfolio of Dynamics 365 Model Driven Power Apps in line with relevant company policies, processes and best practice, and who has a strong desire and aspiration to advance within Software Development.

Location - Reading area.

Salary - £48,250 - 70,000

The Role:

  • Lead developer on key projects and ensuring the team delivers to meet requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes and procedures relating to the delivery of project.
  • Identify key development design patterns for re-use to save time and cost and reduce re-work.
  • Lead 3rd party integrated developers/teams.
  • Undertake research and development of new technologies to maintain current knowledge.
  • Agreeing approach to delivery within the delivery project team.
  • Ensure that the team adheres to appropriate delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Scrum and Agile theory, practices and rules, and work as a servant leader within the project team.
  • Undertake analysis of business requirements, working with customers to prepare solution designs and specifications for self and others to meet customer requirements.
  • Design and build software and software modifications to meet business requirements using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result.
  • Provide technical third line support for supported applications, integrations and services.
  • Ensure configuration and change is managed and controlled throughout software development lifecycle.
  • Produce required documentation to support all phases of the system development process.
  • Carry out code reviews across all development deliveries to ensure high quality first time.
  • Maintain local software quality documentation to ensure TS800 standards are met.
  • Provide timely updates to task managers on the status of assigned deliverables.
  • Retain knowledge of latest programming and design techniques.

The Candidate:

  • Strong experience of application development using Power Platform Model Driven Apps and C# scripting. PL-400 Microsoft Certified Power Platform associate would be a distinct advantage in this respect.
  • Experience of Dynamics 365 CRM Plugin Development using C#.
  • Recent Experience in Azure DevOps or similar (Jira, GitHub).
  • Experience of Agile methodology and flexible in approach.
  • Experience with an Integration environment/role, using Azure LogicApps, Azure Function Apps and SSIS/SSMS would be desirable
  • Good understanding of Security and Compliance best practices.
  • Experience of unit testing and test automation
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies and skills.

All Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
