Senior Application Developer

Salary range: £60,500 to £65,500 per annum
Split between home and our London Office
The Senior Application Developer is a hands-on developer role who is also the key accountable technologist within their team. You will work in a squad including business analysts, developers and testers to deliver back-office integration services for people living with cancer. You will have good knowledge of the .NET ecosystem, the cloud and be passionate about software development.
About the role
As a member of the team, you will have:
- Strong expertise in software development with .NET Core, C#, relational and document databases (e.g., MSSQL and CosmosDB) as well as cloud integration technologies for ETL and APIs.
- A deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, delivering with Agile development practices, and experience in leading complex projects.
- Worked with Lean approaches such as TDD, continuous integration, and pair programming.
- Passion for delivering high-quality, performant, and secure code.
- Designed & developed microservices and/or serverless using modern cloud design patterns, ideally in Azure.
