Position Summary

The role focuses on building, deploying, and overseeing digital solutions within logistics, using the Microsoft Power Platform to drive process improvements and automation. This role combines analytical skills interpreting data, with practical experience in technology and operations, with an emphasis on compliance and cross-functional collaboration to align solutions to the needs of the business.

A day in the life of…a
Power Platform Specialist


This exciting opportunity will include but will not be limited to:


  • Design, develop, and manage sophisticated digital solutions leveraging Azure and the Microsoft Power Platform (including Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Automate) specifically tailored for the logistics team.
  • Conduct thorough business process analyses to identify and assess opportunities for technological improvements and process optimizations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, such as requirements, system and solution designs, and user manuals, to ensure clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.
  • Execute detailed data analyses to uncover trends, anomalies, and insights within datasets, convert these insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Work in collaboration with the development team to maximize the capabilities of our cloud infrastructure/platforms, enabling the implementation of advanced data solutions.
  • Engage closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee that digital solutions align with business requirements and are delivered promptly.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and advancements in technology solutions for business intelligence and logistics management, ensuring our solutions are at the forefront of the industry.


What will make you successful?


  • Proven experience in developing and managing complex digital solutions utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Office 365, and Teams, and their integration, to enhance the functionality and user experience of Power BI and Power Apps solutions.
  • Proven data preparation & cleansing skills with experience in data ownership.
  • A data-curious mindset with an emphasis on precision and detail
  • Demonstrated capability in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Preferred: Basic understanding of SQL
  • Preferred: Relevant certifications in Power BI and Power Apps.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in BA, ISIT or a related field.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Supply Chain is a bonus.
