Our client is a renowned strategic communications consultancy, founded in 1986. As an independent partnership of 60 financial, corporate, brand, and digital communications specialists, they provide integrated strategic communication services to a diverse clientele.
They are seeking a PA with exceptional PowerPoint skills to join their dynamic team and support the design team in creating a wide range of design projects. The role primarily involves working on new business proposals, marketing materials, and occasional client projects. The successful candidate should possess attention to detail, a basic understanding of graphic design and visual communications, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Provide design support for existing clients, and prospective clients, showcasing creative flair.
- Design, prepare, and update new business PowerPoint presentations and client presentations, utilizing layout and design skills.
- Translate client brand guidelines to various collaterals, including presentations, advertisements, social media posts, etc.
- Amend designs based on colleague and client feedback comments.
- Proof and prepare designs for final print.
- Build a robust understanding of the company brand and business, adapting and developing the brand as needed.
Professional & Technical Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Technically-minded and quick to learn new software.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Good understanding of working around various schedules and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, proactive approach, and ability to manage expectations through regular communication.
- Manage projects and resources efficiently to meet objectives.
- They are looking for a self-motivated and friendly team player who will provide ad-hoc support for the videographer on production days, assisting with shooting and kit where needed (no prior experience required).
- You will be able to effectively communicate in various settings, including one-on-one, small or large groups, with peers, direct reports, and managers. You will share design skills with wider teams through teach-in and training sessions on PowerPoint tips and techniques.
