WHAT TO EXPECT 

 

We are looking for experienced Powertrain Systems Technical Specialist to join our growing team delivering the new charging control system for the next generation of JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) electric vehicles.  

 

Within this role you will be you will play a critical role in providing technical guidance, support delivery of our charging systems, provide technical expertise and guidance on all aspects of the charging control system, including hardware, software, and electrical engineering for JLR programmes. 

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities 

  • Offer technical advice and support for all areas of the charging control system, including electrical engineering, software, and hardware. 

  • The system behaviour and logical system architecture throughout the vehicle network, as well as the requirements capture and cascade for the charging features and functionality,  

  • Offering technical leadership to guarantee design accuracy and prompt problem identification and fixing. 

  • Remain informed on the most recent advancements in the world of charging electric vehicles. 

  •  Assist in validating and testing the charging control system. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

 

  • Strong experience of complex control system and software delivery 

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver new capabilities and technology. 

  • Knowledge and experience of powertrain system electric vehicle (EV), battery management or charging.  

  • Experience of managing or technical leadership for medium and large size complex projects 

  • Experienced in systems engineering methodologies. 

  • Ability to build strong, valuable relationships at all levels of the business. 

  •  Strong systems thinking and analytical skills.
