A PPA cover role could be the perfect new role for you! Randstad are working with many schools within Watford (and the surrounding areas) who are seeking PPA cover staff to join their team. This role allows you to gain experience in a range of year groups, as well as working with a vast collection of experienced and specialist staff. Your role allows you flexibility- you tell us what days you can work, we will find you roles suited to you!

Your Teaching Responsibilities:

• Teach exciting lessons, using the planning created and provided by the school/teacher
• Assess and mark the learning completed in your lessons
• Provide brief feedback to the class teacher where appropriate
• Work alongside support staff and specialist staff members to support learning
• Foster positive relationships with staff and students

Requirements of the teacher:

• Relevant teaching qualifications (PGCE, QTS etc.)
• Knowledge teaching relevant curriculums (EYFS, KS1, KS2)
• Grade C or above (or relevant equivalent) in GCSE English and Maths
• 2 references from the last 5 years (1 must be a full child-based safeguarding reference)
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school
• Job history that covers the last 10 years
• An in-date Enhanced DBS- or willingness to obtain one
