This role is ideal for someone looking to grow and develop their career in PR in a supportive environment with training and mentoring to help you continually enhance your skills and advance your career. You will have the opportunity to work on press releases and build strong relationships with journalists, contributing to the delivery of outstanding results in PR, communications, and marketing. This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to be in the office 3-4 days a week.

Role requirements:
- Write press releases, blogs, and articles.
- Take an active role in social media management for clients and our agency.
- Assist colleagues by distributing press releases to journalists.
- Identify opportunities for client coverage and track press coverage, producing reports for clients.
- Engage in continuous professional development through courses and mentoring.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our website, ensuring it remains current.
- Produce monthly client reports, suggesting improvements and learning points.
- Support the team to ensure collective success.
- Foster relationships with journalists, positioning our agency as a go-to source for comments and articles.
- Understand client briefs and work collaboratively to deliver on objectives.
- Stay informed of best practices in PR, communications, and media relations
Person Specification:
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in PR or journalism, degree-level education preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of the social media landscape, including measurement of campaign success.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and understanding their algorithms for optimising client campaigns.
- Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ambitious and quick to learn.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, able to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
