Position: PR Executive (Wines and Spirits)
Location: Knightsbridge, London
Salary: £30,000 per annum (DOE)

About the Company: We're currently partnering with a distinguished Luxury Investment, E-commerce, and Retail firm headquartered in London. Renowned for its specialization in luxury goods and collectibles, such as whisky, watches, fine wine, classic cars, gold, and designer handbags, our client is experiencing rapid growth. As they prepare for the grand opening of their inaugural luxury retail store in June, they're seeking to expand their innovative marketing team.
Position Overview: Our client is in search of a proactive and ambitious PR Executive to bolster their team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of their reputation and brand image. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of PR principles and strategies, coupled with proficiency in event management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the external PR agency to conceive and execute PR campaigns amplifying brand visibility and reputation across all business facets: Cask Investment, E-commerce, and Luxury Retail.
- Manage media relations, including drafting press releases, pitching stories to journalists, and fielding media inquiries.
- Tailor campaigns for each business facet, adjusting language, PR approach, or tone of voice as needed.
- Monitor media coverage and compile reports to track PR performance across all business offerings.
- Coordinate and execute events, from press conferences to product launches, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives for different business segments.
- Assist in the development of PR materials such as media kits, fact sheets, and backgrounders.
- Maintain and update media contact lists and databases.
- Support crisis communication efforts, drafting statements and coordinating responses when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align PR activities with broader marketing objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to identify PR opportunities and challenges.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in PR, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Strong grasp of PR approaches, best practices, and strategies.
- Experience working with Alcohol and spirit brands
- Exceptional communication and writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages.
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with media contacts and stakeholders.
- Experience in event management, including planning, coordination, and execution.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with media monitoring tools and analytics platforms.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
