Charity - Public Relations Manager - £40K plus bens
I have a very interesting and exciting role, working for an international charity that offers practical help to all people, both at home and internationally.

This role is perfect for you if you currently work in PR in the third sector and are looking for a position that stretches your knowledge, and where you can stand up for those who are vulnerable and help to fight against injustice for them.
You can truly transform the lives of those the charity supports. You will be working with an incredibly talented, bright, and dedicated team of professionals who all work really well together as a unit. It will be a very fulfilling role. You will work very closely with the Head of Communications who is a very experienced PR professional and from whom you will learn a great deal
What will I be doing in the Public Relations Manager Role
Creating content for digital and social media and, supporting local and global communication initiatives, developing the PR plan to include strategy, goals, and schemes to secure top-level exposure in all areas of the media.
You will lead their PR campaigns, leverage media contacts, and cultivate new ones. Ensure issues are promoted on social media, curate excellent and engaging content, and support the SLT. You may also be required to travel internationally on occasion.
Who do I want to hear from?
- You must have excellent written and spoken English
- Be a graduate in Public Relations or a similar subject
- Experience of working with a SLT / C-suite
- Be a PR professional with some solid PR experience
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills
- Be confident drafting copy for integrated communications campaigns
- An empathy with the aims and objectives of the charity
- Be a team player with a lively sense of humour.
