To co-ordinate, support, facilitate, and monitor learning opportunities within the clinical assessment environment to ensure public protection and trainee development. Our PEFs will support pre-registration learners in achieving practice assessment outcomes for the purpose of professional registration and to support workplace integration. PEFs will support new, post-registration radiographers and internationally recruited radiographers in their integration to the department. They will support and provide pastoral care, mentorship and training enabling new staff in the department the opportunity to complete all required trust and local competency documents. PEFs will lead in device training, delivering agreed programmes of learning and undertaking educational audits in partnership with local HEIs under the direction of the Student Liaison, Lead Clinical Educators and Superintendents.
