Practice Nurse

General treatment room duties Long term conditions management including Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, Cardiac Conditions Immunisations, Learning Disability health checks, hormone injections Performing peak flow, spirometry, urinalysis and blood pressure checks Collaborative working with our clinical team of GPs, specialist diabetes nurses, ANP, administrative team and community colleagues Travel health Home visits for long term condition management for those who are housebound or in care home settings as required Contraception/family planning/sexual health advice Health promotion including cervical smears Wound management Infection control Telephone consultations Continual interest in lifelong learning and developing your own professional knowledge and skills
