Harptree & Cameley Surgeries are expanding their workforce – an opportunity has arisen for you to join our friendly team as a Practice Nurse in a rural community setting. We are a dynamic and progressive surgery who have recently embraced a new triage appointment system, a cloud-based phone system and various structural changes to further improve our patient experience. We are currently working on our new website and are shortly to start on our dispensary improvement programme.
We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse able to offer a general Practice Nurse service to include actively supporting the practice management team by reviewing treatment room clinical policies and procedures. Working as a member of the practice multidisciplinary team, the postholder will ensure nursing services are delivered effectively to our patient population. The Practice Nurse will be responsible for or involved in a number of clinical areas such as infection prevention and control, health promotion, chronic disease management care, well woman and well man clinics, cytology, wound care, immunisation and other core general Practice Nurse duties. Experience of asthma care, COPD reviews and coils would be particularly welcomed. Hospital nurses with relevant experience are welcome to apply.

We are looking for a hardworking and friendly individual who will fit in with our team. The role is busy and varied, with a friendly and fun team to work with. The position will be based across our two sites in the Chew Valley. This is a rewarding and vital role in the heart of our rural community.
Hours/sessions: Ideally two/three days per week (Mon/Tues/Wed), hours by negotiation.
