SalaryJob Purpose:
• To confirm that finished vehicles are completed in accordance with customer’s requirements and thoroughly tested.
• Key components of the job are to ensure that inspection parameters are met, delivery dates are achieved and quality improvement data is collected.
• To carry out in-process quality audits
• To ensure that vehicles ‘Passed to Sales’ meet quality requirements
• To collect and utilise quality data in a constructive manner
• To comply with any other reasonable request that may become necessary in the best interests of the clinet.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• To carry out any appropriate in-process quality audit necessary to validate the attainment of torque settings, hydraulic pressures or other parameters.
• To ensure that every vehicle is systematically tested in accordance with the specified procedure and to revise and improve the procedure as necessary
• To confirm that every vehicle complies with the customers specification
• To ensure that any faults or discrepancies noted are corrected before the vehicle is ‘Passed to Sales’
• To ensure that all build standard criteria are recorded on the build documentation.
• To ensure that all faults or discrepancies are recorded in a systematic manner for analysis and subsequent elimination.
• To promote constructive dialogue with Manufacturing to agree and implement quality standards and build criteria
