Pre-Masters Academic English Sessional Lecturer

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are searching for a dedicated Pre-Masters Academic English Sessional Lecturer to enrich our vibrant team in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.

As a Pre-Masters Academic English Lecturer, you will teach our Pre-Masters Academic English module, at 4 hours per week. As a Lecturer, you will contribute to the design, development, production of teaching materials and delivery across a range of modules.

Hours of Work: 4 hours per week

Salary: �24.90 to �41.79per/hour depending on your qualification and teaching experience.

Pre-Masters Academic English Sessional Lecturer Requirements:

* Minimum Master's degree in a relevant subject
* Teaching and assessment experience in UK higher or further education
* Teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards completion, with experience of working with international students
* Commitment to and understanding of the development of students of diverse backgrounds.
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work flexibly and adaptably to meet the changing needs of the organisation
* Understand equal opportunity issues as they may impact on academic content and issues relating to student needs

Desirable experience required:

* PhD or Professional Doctorate in a relevant subject
* Experience in curriculum design
* Network with relevant employers and industry sector related to the specialism
