Attention Premises Manager - A fantastic secondary school in Brent are looking for a Premises Managers to start ASAP!
As Premises Manager you will manage the Premises Team to ensure excellent operational standards. Main duties will include upkeep, care, maintenance, Health & Safety, and facilities management.
Premises Manager Summary:
- School with a lovely site in Brent, London.
- Salary £37,000 - £39,000 per annum depending on experience.
- Expertise in construction preferred.
- School Premises Manager job start date: January 2024 or sooner if possible.

School Premises Manager responsibilities include:
- People management of the premise team includes recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Undertake appropriate repairs and improvements e.g. redecorating and erecting shelves; minor plumbing, changing light bulbs unblocking drains and toilets.
- To organise and carry out various maintenance duties to ensure that the general upkeep and maintenance of the premises is satisfactory e.g. cleaning duties such as graffiti removal, litter-picking, and leaf clearance.
- Ensure academy vehicles are maintained, cleaned, and serviced.
- Conduct regular checks of the outdoor equipment across the school identifying and logging any faults or repairs required to the Facilities Manager.
- Lock and unlock school buildings as directed by and in the absence of the Facilities Manager, including for evening, weekend and other out of hour’s use of the school, e.g.: lettings, Trustee meetings, FOKTA meetings and events.
- Ensure site and building is up to the highest quality regarding health and safety systems.
