The role
- As a Press Brake Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Amada Press Brake machines to produce high-quality metal parts.
- You will work from engineering drawings and be responsible for programming the machines.
- You will also be responsible for working with mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Amada Press Brake machines
- Program the machines to produce high-quality metal parts
- Work from engineering drawings and ensure that all parts meet specifications
- Work with mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Requirements
- Experience operating Amada Press Brake machines
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
