A leading Manufacturer in the Lytham area is seeking a skilled Press Brake Setter/Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a range of machinery to produce high-quality metal materials, meeting production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Day to day of the role:- Operate manual and automated equipment to produce standard and bespoke metal products.
- Ensure high-quality standards are maintained for all products.
- Communicate proactively with supervisors, managers, and Quality Control regarding production, quality, and health & safety issues.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Adhere to health & safety standards, following instructions and wearing appropriate PPE.
- Previous experience with Trumpf machines is desirable.
- Experience using measuring equipment.
- Practical awareness of lean manufacturing and understanding of 5S activities.
- Proven experience in engineering sheet metal production, setting, and operating CNC press brakes.
