Hewett Recruitment are working in partnership with our client based in Stourport on new permanent positions. Currently looking to grow and expand so this is a really exciting time to join the business!
We are looking for an experienced Press Operative with Setting experience from a previous role.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Working to and follow production instructions and sequence charts
- Work to and achieve agreed targets
- Check and clean equipment / production area
- Machine Maintenance - Lead TPM/tool maintenance as required
- Ensuring parts produced are of a suitable standard
- Organise/perform equipment changeover and setting of processes
- Organise/perform equipment changeover and setting of processes
- Investigate and problem solve following any equipment breakdown
Requirements/Experience:
- High volume Press experience is essential, 30-350 ton press (manual and Auto)
- Setting experience is preferred
- Previous experience within production/process improvements within Press shop
- There is an opportunity to grow so a positive and proactive approach is essential
- Crane license would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills across all areas
- Knowledge of health and safety, COSHH etc.
Hours:
Monday to Thursday 2pm - 10pm
Friday 11am - 4pm
Pay:
£25,350 pa
This role is based in Stourport with limited transport links so the suitable candidate should have their own transport to and from the site.
