Pressurisation Technician

JOB PURPOSE:
The Pressurisation Technician is responsible for testing, fault finding, repairing, and reassembling mechanical and electro-mechanical products in the Pressurisation Workshop, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Perform testing, fault finding, repairing, and reassembly of products following original manufacturers' manuals and instructions.
- Maintain and uphold quality standards and procedures.
- Establish and sustain a legally compliant and safe working environment, conducting risk assessments as necessary.
- Prepare workshop reports and material reviews to support customer estimate creation by the purchasing and commercial departments.
- Understand and meet customer needs consistently.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Company.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Solid understanding of DC/AC motors.
- Proficiency in reading electrical circuits and pneumatic diagrams.
- Excellent mechanical skills.
- Background in an aviation environment essential, with previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and business systems and procedures.
- Ability to interpret manuals and accurately record inspection findings.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Collaborative team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Safety-conscious with a high level of attention to detail.
