Want to work with a globally recognised brand of heavy plant machinery? SMT GB markets and distributes Volvo Construction Equipment including wheeled loaders, articulated haulers, hydraulic excavators, and utility and road equipment products across the UK.
Our Preventative Maintenance Engineers keep our customers Volvo construction equipment running smoothly and efficiently by carrying out essential planned maintenance and servicing on our customers sites, this could be anything from a 500-hour service on an excavator to a routine check-up on a small digger.
Hours
Core hours: Mon to Wed 08 30, Thurs 08 00, Fri 08 30
Overtime: Time and a half on hours outside of core hours Monday to noon Saturday
Overtime: Double time from noon Saturday to 08.00 Monday
Requirements
Ideally, you ll hold a minimum of NVQ L2 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance, Land Based Engineering, or similar heavy machinery. With previous experience servicing or fitting parts on heavy machinery you ll also be a problem solver with strong customer service and communication skills.
The right to work in the UK without the requirement for sponsorship and a full UK driving licence is essential. Company van provided.
