Preventive Maintenance Planner Sr

 

We are hiring a Preventive Maintenance Planner Sr. to help build the Preventive Maintenance for new as well existing converting equipment from the ground up. 
You will play a critical role in ensuring availability, reliability, performance and longevity of our industrial equipment and systems at optimal cost through planning, directing, and scheduling the preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
This position is based in Denton, TX.
Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal or External) who require International Relocation to the United States.  

What you will do

 

As Preventive Maintenance Planner Sr., you will:

 

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule and plan for all industrial equipment and machinery. This includes routine inspections, Preventive Maintenance, and equipment overhauls.
  • Be the main driver to prevent and predict issues related to end of life of the equipment.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors to allocate appropriate resources.
  • Develop and improve maintenance plans, records, work orders, and spare parts inventory when necessary. Implement computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track and manage maintenance activities.
  • Develop and maintain detailed information of the equipment.
  • Establish and manage Document’s control (supplier manuals, drawings, Standards, SOP, OPLs, work orders, AM PM plans etc.) 
  • Identify potential risks and safety hazards associated with maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors to obtain quotes, source parts, and schedule outsourced maintenance services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize maintenance strategies 
  • Implement Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles 
  • Establish and manage Condition Monitoring Programs (CMP) to assess the health of equipment and predict potential issues.
  • Perform detailed analysis of industrial equipment and systems to identify potential failure modes, causes, and consequences. 
  • Participate and drive continuous improvement initiatives, kaizens, recommend process enhancements, and work with teams to implement new standards and best practices.
  • Drive loss deployments and set priorities in line with business/factory strategy.
  • Investigate equipment failures and operational issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on critical systems and equipment 
  • Use data analysis tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from maintenance data, driving continuous improvement in asset reliability and performance.

We believe you have

 

  • At least 3 years of experience in the maintenance field, ideally in an industrial/production setting; food packaging or converting industry is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience using SAP and data collection tools, e.g. PowerBI.
  • Good understanding of machine function and operation, following the given work instructions, preventing and predicting the issues related to end of life of the equipment by enhancing TBM/ CBM system and optimize them along the journey of continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of maintenance tools and techniques, standard operating procedures, knowledge in continuous improvement methodology / World Class Manufacturing methodology (TPM) is a plus
  • Experience creating/integrating/sustaining maintenance programs in line with business/factory strategy. 
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance & reliability principles, techniques and methodologies
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and Microsoft Office Suite. SAP Plant Maintenance experience will be considered a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of maintenance management software.
  • Familiarity with Planned maintenance predictive maintenance technologies and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Project management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
