Due to internal promotion, a new Pricing Coordinator role has arisen within the European HQ of a global manufacturing business. This position reports to the Strategic Pricing Manager and will prepare and distribute accurate, timely pricing information to customers, maintain pricing, provide analytical support, and coordinate pricing analysis.The Pricing Coordinator will be:
- Creating and maintaining price lists with a logical presentation that are easy for customers to understand.
- Working with discount matrices, ensuring that all external Sales teams are registered, and that accurate discount information is held in the pricing systems. Taking responsibility for the communication of discount changes to the internal and external Sales teams.
- Assisting in the price book and historic pricing maintenance, collection of competitor pricing, and maintenance of the internal database.
- Taking responsibility for processing all contract evaluations for deals over the set pricing threshold for specific brands.
- Attending management information meetings, gathering the latest information on all product changes and introductions to ensure any pricing amendments are carried through to completion.
- Providing analytical support to the Pricing team as required.
- Excellent IT skills, with advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
- A business-related degree or experience in a Sales or Marketing environment would be ideal.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good numeracy and excellent attention to detail.
- Analytical skills and experience involving the manipulation of large volumes of data would be desirable.
