Position: Early Careers Teacher (Year 3)
Location: Bolton
Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed Term (2024/2025 Academic Year)
Salary: MPS (Main Pay Scale)

The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Early Careers Teacher (ECT) to teach a Year 3 class for the 2024/2025 academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who has completed their first year of ECT and is eager to further develop their skills in a supportive and dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to a Year 3 class.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the well-being and academic growth of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student learning and development.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

  • Completed the first year of the Early Career Teacher (ECT) program.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to be a proactive member of the school community.
