The Tuition Services Team at Randstad are looking for a committed Primary Literacy Tutor to conduct face to face sessions with primary aged pupils who require additional educational support with their writing and reading. We offer our Tutors highly rewarding assignments, whilst providing flexibility and professional support to ensure your success. Earning up to 30 per hour for face to face support, you will be offered the opportunity to build up meaningful relationships with Primary level pupils working with them on a daily basis to support with their writing and reading.
In this Primary level tutoring role, you will support pupils by tailoring the tuition sessions to suit their needs and current working level. Above all you will be an engaging and informative Primary Level Tutor by helping pupils access the best education. As a Primary level Tutor in Newmarket, you will be free to choose from an extensive list of available bookings with flexible hours, enabling you to take control of your working schedule.
You will be assisted by our dedicated support team through every step of your registration process and will also be provided with high quality training to enable you to deliver your tuition sessions.
The ideal requirements:
- A creative and versatile teaching style
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), subject specialism or extensive tuition experience
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to acquire one
- Experience in working with students with SEN, disengaged young people or looked after children
Responsibilities will include:
- Setting, marking and giving feedback on work
- Small group work
- Safeguarding children
- Planning sessions to ensure the curriculum is covered sufficiently
- Monitoring students progress
