Job Description:
As a School Cleaner with SAAF Education, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our school facilities. You will be responsible for cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and other areas, ensuring they are kept to a high standard at all times. The successful candidate must possess a valid Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate registered on the update service.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, and other areas according to established cleaning procedures
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces as needed
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures
• Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and hand sanitizer
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in a school or similar setting
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Reliable and punctual, with a responsible attitude towards cleanliness and hygiene
• A valid Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate registered on the update service

Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
