Primary School Teacher

Are you an experienced Primary School Teacher looking for work in North Birmingham?

Winner Education are seeking a primary class teacher for a Primary School in Kidderminster, Birmingham. Our client is searching for a full-time KS2 class teacher who is readily available or approaching the end of their current contract due to the urgency to fill this position. This role will start from February 2024 and run through to the end of the academic year with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

The successful candidate must:

• Demonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be able to form excellent relationships within the school team as well as pupils and parents
• Have previous experience of working with KS2 children
• Hold QTS status
• Show willing to go ‘above and beyond’
• Be comfortable in delivering interventions to small groups of pupils

Roles and responsibilities:

• Lead on lesson planning and preparation
• Tailor lesson resources to individual SEN learners
• Assessing and providing pupil feedback and progress reports
• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
• Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and student welfare
